$20,000 REWARD OFFERED IN UNSOLVED BORON HOMICIDE
BORON, CA — The Kern County Sheriff's Office and Kern Secret Witness are seeking the public's help in solving the 2022 murder of 25-year-old Larry Christy Jr.
On September 11, 2022, at approximately 8:00 p.m., deputies located Christy's body on a remote dirt road about one mile north of Boron.
Investigators believe Christy was murdered sometime between the night of September 10 and the morning of September 11, 2022. Detectives suspect he was killed by individuals he knew and that the murder was coordinated by multiple people.
Christy's family and Kern Secret Witness are offering a combined reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to an arrest and the filing of a criminal complaint against those responsible.
Detectives are asking anyone who was with Christy that night or has information about his whereabouts to come forward.
