UPDATE: The fire is now 5 acres and running west in light grass with no structures threatened, per incident command. Winds are out of the east at 5 mph. This is now known as the "Joshua Fire."

UPDATE 2: Palmdale Blvd has been requested to be shut down in the area of the fire due to the fire bumping the road
