Adelanto Man Killed, Another Injured in Victorville Shooting, Investigation Underway

DATE: December 28, 2025, at 1:36 a.m.

INCIDENT: PC 187 – Murder

LOCATION: 12000 Block of Mariposa Rd., Victorville

SUSPECT(S): Unknown

VICTIM(S): #1- Dshaun Holden, 35-years-old, Resident of Adelanto, (Deceased) #2- Adult male, 35-years-old, Resident of Victorville

SUMMARY: On Sunday, December 28, 2025, at approximately 1:36 a.m., deputies responded to multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting a shooting in the 12000 block of Mariposa Road in Victorville. Upon arrival, deputies observed an estimated 50 to 100 individuals gathered in the parking lot.

Deputies located two victims, in the parking lot, with gunshot wounds. Victim #1, identified as Dshaun Holden, was found with multiple gunshot wounds. Deputies immediately initiated life-saving measures until medical personnel arrived. Holden was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. Victim #2, sustained non-life-threatening gunshot injuries and was also taken to a nearby hospital.

The suspect remains unidentified and fled the scene prior to deputies’ arrival.
