ARREST MADE / PUBLIC SAFETY NOTICE
On 06-20-2026, individuals posing as "window washers" at a local gas station in the 37200 block of 47th Street East, Palmdale, persuaded a customer to give them a ride to a nearby business. Shortly after, the individuals shot the victim multiple times and stole his vehicle.
Detectives from the Palmdale Station Robbery Suppression Team identified the two individuals involved in the shooting and served multiple search warrants in the Palmdale and Lancaster area with the assistance of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB).
Multiple items of evidentiary value were recovered during the search warrants, including two loaded firearms.
This is one of multiple robbery/carjacking incidents reported in the area involving individuals posing as "window washers."
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department strongly urges the public to refrain from conducting business with these individuals and to report any suspicious activity to the Sheriff's Department.
