Heavy law enforcement activity at Lancaster Boulevard & Sierra Highway
According to initial reports, a deputy responding to a call involving a man armed with two knives was stabbed. Deputies then opened fire, and the suspect was pronounced deceased at the scene. A critical roll was performed for the injured deputy to Antelope Valley Medical Center.
