π₯ BOUQUET FIRE β ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST
Firefighters are responding to a vegetation fire in the 34800 block of Bouquet Canyon Road, northeast of Santa Clarita in the Angeles National Forest.
The fire is currently estimated at approximately 5 acres, burning to the north at a moderate rate of spread in light to medium brush. Structures are threatened, according to Incident Command.
A request has been made to close Bouquet Canyon Road at Spunky Canyon Road and Texas Canyon Road while crews work the fire.
Additional resources are responding. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
UPDATE:
The Bouquet Fire, burning in the 34800 block of Bouquet Canyon Road, northeast of Santa Clarita in the Angeles National Forest, has now grown to approximately 100 acres.
The fire continues to burn to the north in light to medium brush. Law enforcement has been requested to begin evacuations, according to Incident Command.
A second alarm has been requested, along with five additional air tankers. Incident Command has also requested two Type 3 strike teams and four Type 1 hand crews.
