馃毃 CHP - Antelope Valley Enforcement Update 馃毃
This morning between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, CHP Antelope Valley personnel conducted traffic enforcement in an active construction zone with workers present.
During this time, officers issued more than 20 citations to drivers traveling in excess of the posted 55 MPH zone, with a top speed of 105 miles per hour. Additionally, two drivers were arrested for driving under the influence.
鈿狅笍 Construction Zone Safety Reminder: Construction workers are someone鈥檚 family member, friend, or loved one. They rely on drivers to slow down, stay alert, and move over when possible. Speeding and impaired driving in construction zones greatly increase the risk of serious or fatal crashes.
