Crimes Against Children Detectives Arrest Adelanto Man for Numerous Child Sex Crimes and is Being Held Without Bail

INCIDENT: PC 288.7 Oral Copulation with a Child Under 10 years PC 288(a) Lewd & Lascivious Acts with a Child PC 311.4(c) Production of Child Pornography PC 311.11(a) Possession of Child Pornography PC 667.61 Super Strike Offenses

LOCATION: 11000 block of Chamberlaine Way, in Adelanto, and Eucalyptus Street/Tamarisk Avenue in Hesperia

VICTIMS: Confidential eight-year-old juvenile and five-year-old juvenile

SUSPECT: Walter Yonatan “Jonny” Aguirre Gonzalez, Age 40, Resident of Adelanto

SUMMARY:

On September 23, 2025, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Specialized Investigations Division - Crimes Against Children Detail received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) concerning the sexual abuse of multiple juveniles. During the investigation, Detective Elizabeth Holguin identified Walter Yonatan “Jonny” Aguirre Gonzalez as the suspect. Investigators served a warrant to search Aguirre Gonzalez’s electronic devices, where they found and identified digital evidence indicating there was an additional juvenile victim.

At the conclusion of the investigation, members of the Specialized Enforcement Division (SED) arrested Aguirre Gonzalez and booked him at the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino. Aguirre Gonzalez is being held without bail.

Detectives believe there may be additional victims and are releasing Aguirre Gonzalez’s photograph.
