Fatal Metrolink vs. Pedestrian in Palmdale
PALMDALE — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a Metrolink train Thursday night in the area of 38702 N. 6th Street East in Palmdale.
Los Angeles County Fire Department crews were dispatched around 10:55 p.m. The incident affected Metrolink Train 227, which was traveling from Union Station to Lancaster.
The incident remains under investigation. Expect delays in the area as authorities investigate the fatal collision.
