Forecasting models show continued intensification of storms approaching Southern California over the Christmas holiday. The Antelope Valley may see up to 75% of its annual rainfall totals between 12/24 - 12/26 while the San Gabriel mountains are forecasted to receive 7-10” of rain during this same time period with snow levels above 7,000’. Street flooding warnings have been issued for areas throughout the Antelope Valley including all of Lancaster and Palmdale. Please exert caution while traveling and do not attempt to cross flooded roadways and intersections.
