FOUR KILLED IN HEAD-ON CRASH IN LITTLEROCK

LITTLEROCK — Four people were killed Friday evening following a violent head-on collision near 77th Street East and Mount Emma Road.

The crash happened just after 6:30 p.m. on May 8th, according to the California Highway Patrol. When emergency crews arrived, they found a Honda Pilot SUV and an Infiniti sedan with major damage in the roadway.

A man and woman inside the Infiniti were pronounced dead at the scene. Two occupants from the Honda Pilot were transported to Antelope Valley Medical Center in critical condition, where they later died from their injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by CHP. The identities of the victims have not yet been released.

Mount Emma Road was shut down in the area for several hours during the investigation.
