From Lancaster Police Department
This past weekend’s DUI checkpoint was part of our continued effort to keep Lancaster roads safe. We appreciate the patience and cooperation from drivers who passed through the checkpoint and helped make the operation run smoothly.
During the operation, officers issued 35 citations, made 1 DUI arrest involving marijuana, and impounded 6 vehicles.
Remember: impaired driving is preventable. Plan ahead and choose a sober ride. Together, we can keep our community moving safely.
