Gang Enforcement Team Recovers Stolen Shotgun During Adelanto Search

INCIDENT: Possession of Stolen Property

LOCATION: 18000 block of Thomas Court, Adelanto

SUSPECT: Kaleah Pruitt, 20-year-old, Resident of Adelanto

SUMMARY: Investigators from the Apple Valley Station Gang Enforcement Team conducted an investigation related to the unlawful possession of firearms.

On Thursday, July 23, 2026, with the assistance of the Victor Valley Multi-Enforcement Team, The Apple Valley Gang Enforcement Team served a search warrant at a residence located in the 18000 block of Thomas Court, in the City of Adelanto. Deputies located a stolen 12-gauge shotgun at the residence, along with shotgun shells and illegal fireworks.

Kaleah Pruitt was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center for PC 496(a)- Possession of Stolen Property. Pruitt is being held in lieu of $130,000 bail.
