Hesperia Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography After Detectives Receive Cyber Tip

DATE/TIME: September 10, 2026, at about 8:00 am INCIDENT: PC 311.11(a) - Possession of Child Pornography LOCATION: 14000 block of Sequoia Street in Hesperia

SUSPECT: Trevor Angus Dene, 26-year-old resident of Hesperia SUMMARY: On Monday, August 17, 2026, the Specialized Investigations Division-Crimes Against Children Detail (CAC) received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) concerning the upload of child sexual abuse material. During the investigation, Trevor Angus Dene was identified as the suspect. Investigators located images of child sexual abuse material in Dene’s electronic devices.

At the conclusion of the investigation, Dene was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto for violation of PC 311.11(a) - Possession of Child Pornography in lieu of $30,000 bail.
