REPORTED AT: 3:30 P.M.

LOCATION: Intersection of Rancho Vista Boulevard / 25th Street West

PARTIES INVOLVED: Male - 2014 Nissan Altima / Male - 2006 Honda Pilot

UNIT: Palmdale Sheriff's Station Traffic Department

NARRATIVE:

On June 11th, 2026 at approximately 3:30 PM, personnel from Palmdale Sheriff’s Station responded to a two-vehicle collision on Rancho Vista Boulevard at the intersection of 25th Street West, which is within the incorporated area of the City of Palmdale.

The preliminary facts of this investigation indicate at approximately 3:30 PM, a male Black juvenile was driving east on Rancho Vista Boulevard in the number two lane at approximately 45 miles per hour. The driver failed to stop for a red light and collided into a vehicle turning south onto 25th Street West from the westbound lanes of Rancho Vista Boulevard on a green traffic light. Both occupants of the Nissan were transported to Antelope Valley Hospital. The passenger of the Nissan succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Honda Pilot sustained minor injuries.
