Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger in partnership with Waste Management will sponsor a free dumping day for residents of unincorporated Los Angeles County communities in the Antelope Valley.
Residents of unincorporated communities will be able to dump one ton of trash – including appliances and furniture -- per household between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10 at the Lancaster Landfill, 600 East Ave. F, the Supervisor’s office announced.

The vouchers are not available for properties or households inside Palmdale or Lancaster city limits or in Kern County.
Vouchers can be obtained weekdays except holidays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger’s Antelope Valley office, 42455 10th St. West, Suite 104, Lancaster.
People requesting landfill vouchers must present a photo identification card verifying their name and they must prove their residence or ownership of property or of a business that rents property in the unincorporated Antelope Valley. Owners of more than one property parcel can obtain two vouchers for each parcel.
Other free waste disposal events are also occurring in the Antelope Valley.
