MAN SERIOUSLY INJURED IN STABBING NEAR WINCO/LOWE’S IN LANCASTER
LANCASTER — A man was seriously injured in a stabbing Thursday night near the WinCo and Lowe’s shopping center on West Avenue K.
The incident was reported at approximately 10:47 p.m. Thursday near 740 W. Avenue K. Initial reports indicated a male suffering from a stab wound in front of WinCo, prompting Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies and fire department personnel to respond Code 3.
An update indicated the stabbing actually occurred behind Lowe’s near the garden center.
The victim reportedly suffered a severe abdominal stab wound with his intestines exposed. His current condition was not immediately available.
A knife was recovered at the scene.
