Come see what’s planned for the Rancho Vista Grade Separation Project at the intersection of Sierra Highway and Rancho Vista Boulevard, and tell the project team what matters most to you. The project would place the roadway and railroad tracks at different levels, helping to reduce delays, improve safety, keep traffic moving and support faster emergency response times. You do not need to be a transportation expert. Bring your questions and your experience traveling through Palmdale. Choose the meeting that works best for you. New pavement striping and traffic signs are now in place to improve traffic operations and enhance safety during school arrival and dismissal. Here's what drivers need to know: 🚗 During school arrival and dismissal, the bike lane is designated as a vehicle queuing lane. ➡️ The adjacent travel lanes continue to operate normally. 🚫 Student loading and unloading is not permitted from the bike lane. Parents and guardians should continue using the school's designated student loading and unloading area. Please watch for the new signs and pavement markings and help us make this transition a success.
