On 09/11/2022, at approximately 8pm, Kern County Sheriff's Office Deputies located the deceased body of 25-year-old Larry Christy Jr. on a remote dirt road approximately one mile north of Boron, California. Homicide detectives responded and assumed the investigation.

It is suspected that Larry Christy Jr. was murdered sometime between the night of 09/10/2022 and the morning of 09/11/2022. Detectives are asking those who were with Larry at any time during that time period or have knowledge of what occurred to come forward with information.
