On April 12th, 2026 (Sunday), at approximately 4:47 AM, personnel from Palmdale Sheriff’s Station responded to a motor vehicle collision on Avenue T near 70th Street East, which is within the incorporated area of the City of Palmdale.

The preliminary facts of this investigation indicate at approximately 4:47 AM, a male Hispanic adult was driving a 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor east on Avenue T at an unknown rate of speed. The driver of the Ford F-150 Raptor veered into the westbound lanes of travel colliding head-on with a 2008 Honda Civic. Each driver was extracted from their vehicle and transported to Antelope Valley Hospital for serious injuries. The driver of the Ford F-150 Raptor later succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Honda Civic remains in critical condition.
