On August 22nd, 2025 (Friday), at approximately 1748 hours, personnel from Palmdale Sheriff’s Station responded to a motor vehicle collision on 30th Street West and Club Rancho Drive, which is within the unincorporated area of the City of Palmdale.
The preliminary facts of this investigation indicate at approximately 1748 hours, a male black adult was driving a 2017 Ram 1500 north on 30th Street West and an unknown rate of speed toward the intersection of Club Rancho Drive. The driver lost control of his vehicle and drove across opposing lanes of travel into a concrete pole located on the northwest corner of the intersection. The driver was transported to Antelope Valley Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
