PEDESTRIAN REPORTED STRUCK; FOUR PEOPLE DETAINED IN LANCASTER
LANCASTER — At approximately 7:45 p.m., deputies responded to the 2500 block of East Lingard Street following reports of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.
According to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department radio traffic, the initial call indicated a Black male adult and Black female adult were allegedly attempting to run over a man. The Los Angeles County Fire Department was dispatched for a reported pedestrian struck by a vehicle.
Upon arrival, deputies requested additional units Code 3 — lights and sirens — while conducting a gunpoint detention of multiple individuals described over radio traffic as possible assault-with-a-deadly-weapon suspects.
Four people were detained at the scene. It is unknown at this time whether any of those detained were formally arrested.
The condition of the pedestrian is currently unknown
