Recently, Kern County Probation Department officers assigned to the Youth Supervision Division conducted a home call in the 4600 block of Ambrister Dr. in Bakersfield to make contact with a youth on juvenile probation. During a search of the residence, officers located an assault rifle and several high-capacity magazines, leading to an arrest for firearm and ammunition related charges.
