🚨 RECOVERY: BODY FOUND IN AQUEDUCT – PHELAN
San Bernardino County Fire crews responded around 2:45 PM Monday to the California Aqueduct near Johnson Rd in Phelan after a worker reported a body submerged against an aqueduct gate.
A Sheriff’s dive team responded to the scene and conducted a recovery operation. The body was pulled from the water just after 5:00 PM. Authorities are now working to identify the individual.
⚠️ This incident may be connected to a March 11 report of a person entering the aqueduct in the Llano area, where an extensive search previously came up empty. No additional details have been released at this time.
