ROLLOVER CRASH WITH MINOR INJURIES ON SOUTHBOUND HIGHWAY 14 NEAR ESCONDIDO CANYON ROAD
LOS ANGELES COUNTY — A single-vehicle rollover crash was reported Wednesday, October 7, at approximately 2:54 p.m. on southbound Highway 14, just north of Escondido Canyon Road.
According to CHP incident logs, a black Nissan Altima reportedly struck the mountainside, overturned, and came to rest on its roof, blocking the roadway.
The initial report indicated a female occupant was inside the vehicle, with several Good Samaritans attempting to help her out.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department was requested to respond. CHP later received information that two occupants had been removed from the vehicle.
The collision was classified as an 11-81, traffic collision with minor injuries.
At approximately 3:19 p.m., CHP reported that only lanes 3 and 4 remained blocked while crews handled the incident.
As of 3:37 p.m., CHP reported the incident had been cleared.
