SHOOTING INVESTIGATION
Deputies responded around 12:30 a.m. today to the area of Avenue H-8 and 21st Street West following reports of juveniles fighting with baseball bats at a house party.
While deputies were responding, multiple callers reported hearing gunshots. Additional callers advised that one person had been shot and was not breathing, with CPR being performed at the scene.
The suspected shooter was described as a Black male, approximately 17 to 19 years old, wearing a black Nike shirt.
Despite reports of a gunshot victim, no victim was transported from the scene. The circumstances surrounding the reported shooting remain under investigation.
