Kern County Sheriff's deputies from the Rosamond and Mojave substations are investigating reports of shots fired at the Rosamond Garden Apartments, located at 3400 15th Street West.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred near Building 2. Callers reported an occupant of a red SUV fired approximately 2 to 5 rounds before fleeing the area.
Deputies are searching the area and investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. No injuries have been confirmed at this time.
