The CHP Castaic Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility recently received a request for assistance from a partner agency concerning an unusual and potentially hazardous issue involving a commercial vehicle. The trailer was missing a set of wheels giving the term “Air Ride” a new meaning. Surprisingly, the driver showed little concern and continued trying to load the trailer with product, disregarding the obvious dangers. When the Commercial Officer arrived on scene, he quickly identified several serious safety violations and immediately placed the truck out of service to prevent further risk to the public. Commercial vehicle safety remains a top priority for the CHP. Unsafe vehicles on the road can pose significant risks not only to their operators but to everyone sharing the roadway. We urge members of the public to stay vigilant! If you notice a commercial vehicle that appears unsafe or out of compliance, please do not hesitate to contact emergency personnel for assistance. Your awareness and quick action can help prevent accidents and keep our community safe

8:23 PM7h agoGeneralAgua DulceGood evening. I’m reaching out to see if you could help me.……I was involved in a motorcycle accident today on southbound Highway 14, just before the Agua Dulce exit & unfortunately I didn’t have my camera with me at the time. I’m hoping that one of your followers may have been driving through the area & captured the accident on a dash cam. The incident happened sometime between 5:50am & 6:20am. If anyone has any footage or information I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you9:47 PM2d agoGeneralLancasterPosting for a follower.
