The City of Lancaster has completed the count of the ballots for the April 14 General Municipal Election, and voters have selected Cedric White and Rocio Castellanos to serve on the Lancaster City Council.

The final unofficial vote totals are as follows: Cedric White: 3,570 votes, 21.99% Rocio Castellanos: 3,438 votes, 21.17%

The election will be certified, and the newly elected councilmembers will be sworn in on April 28. Following the swearing-in, the new councilmembers will begin their terms serving the community of Lancaster.

The City extends its appreciation to all candidates who participated in the election and to the residents who made their voices heard by voting.
