THE HEAT IS UPON US — AND IT’S ONLY GETTING HOTTER
The Antelope Valley is in for several days of dangerous heat, with Lancaster forecast to reach 104°F Sunday and Monday, climbing to 106°F Tuesday and Wednesday.
The heat also brings an increased risk of fast-moving fires if one starts. Stay hydrated, limit outdoor activity during the hottest part of the day, and be extremely careful with anything that could spark a fire.
