The Palmdale Sheriff’s Station would like to remind all our residents, especially the residents of Littlerock, Llano, Juniper Hills and Pearblossom, that it is illegal to burn trash without a permit.
Recently, our station has responded to several fires in these county areas. One fire in particular caught the dry brush and sparked a fast moving brush fire, threatening surrounding structures and killing several horses.
These fires can and should be prevented. Please do not burn trash, even on your own properties. It is illegal!
