UPD* #LASD Homicide Investigators are Asking for the Public's Help Locating Person of Interest, #Lancaster

Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance regarding a homicide investigation. On Thursday, May 28, 2026, between 2:15 a.m.-3:00 a.m., a male victim was involved in an altercation which resulted in his death, on the 45200 block of Beech Avenue, in the city of Lancaster. Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying the person pictured above who is wanted for questioning and a person of interest in this investigation. The person of interest was last seen at the intersection of Beech Avenue and West Avenue I.

Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Homicide Bureau Detective Matt Landreth or Sergeant Ramon Munoz at (323) 890-5500.

NARRATIVE:

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are responding to assist Lancaster Station with a death investigation. The incident occurred on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at approximately 4:57 a.m., on the 45200 block of Beech Avenue in the city of Lancaster. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
