Victorville Detectives Arrest Las Vegas Man in Child Sexual Abuse Investigation

DATE/TIME: Saturday, June 06, 2026

INCIDENT: PC 288 - Lewd or lascivious acts with a minor

LOCATION: 13000 block of Opal Circle, Victorville

SUSPECT(S): Juan Carlos Hernandez-Alcala, 19-year-old, Resident of Las Vegas, Nevada

VICTIM(S): 13-year-old, female

SUMMARY: On Saturday, June 06, 2026, deputies and detectives from the Victorville Sheriff's Station investigated allegations of sexual abuse of minor by a 19-year-old male. Detectives identified Juan Carlos Hernandez-Alcala, of Las Vegas, Nevada as the suspect.

It was discovered Hernandez-Alcala contacted the victim through a social media messaging application. Hernandez-Alcala drove from Las Vegas to Victorville on multiple occasions, where he met with the victim and committed acts of sexual abuse. Detectives believe Hernandez-Alcala also had explicit conversations with other minor females.

At the conclusion of the investigation, Hernandez-Alcala was arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention in Las Vegas, Nevada for violations of multiple PC288 charges in lieu of $1,000,000 bail.

Hernandez-Alcala will be extradited to San Bernardino County at a later date. Victorville Detectives worked in partnership with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, whose coordinated efforts led to the suspects arrest.

Detectives believe there may be additional victims and are releasing Hernandez-Alcala's booking photograph.
