Bomb Threat Prompts Lockdown at Two Westside Schools

Emergency crews rushed Code 3 to Peonza Lane near Hillview Middle School after a bomb threat was reportedly received. Deputies and fire personnel arrived quickly, securing the campus while students and staff sheltered in place.

Lancaster Police later arrived to assist.

As a precaution, Rancho Vista Elementary was also placed on lockdown, though it was not searched.

After a thorough sweep of Hillview Middle School, authorities confirmed the situation was Code 4 and the campus was cleared. No threat was found and no injuries were reported.
