DUI Checkpoint Results Released in Lancaster
The Lancaster Police Department released details following a DUI checkpoint conducted March 14th as part of ongoing efforts to improve roadway safety.
According to officials, the checkpoint resulted in 2 DUI arrests. Officers also cited 51 drivers for either not having a valid license or driving on a suspended license. In addition, 6 traffic citations were issued and 11 vehicles were towed during the operation.
Authorities stated the checkpoint ran smoothly and thanked drivers for their cooperation throughout the operation.
Officials continue to remind the public that impaired driving is preventable and encourage motorists to plan ahead and use a sober ride.
