Early this morning, a solo-vehicle traffic collision was reported on the northbound SR-14 at the 10th Street West on-ramp in Palmdale.

According to CHP, the vehicle left the freeway for unknown reasons and came off the roadway, landing on 10th Street West just beneath the SR-14 overpass. The crash temporarily blocked northbound access and the on-ramp while crews worked the scene and cleared debris from the main lanes.

Two occupants were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. Both were transported to Antelope Valley Medical Center (AVMC) with major injuries. CHP units responded, initiated traffic control, and coordinated towing operations.

The incident was later cleared and normal traffic flow resumed. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
