*FATAL FOUR-VEHICLE COLLISION IN PALMDALE, SUSPECTS DETAINED*

A devastating four-vehicle collision occurred in Palmdale, resulting in one fatality. The incident took place at Avenue N and 22nd Street West. According to reports, a black Mercedes, occupied by two suspects, a male and female, collided with another vehicle.

Witnesses reported that the suspect vehicle had previously hit another vehicle on the freeway and fled the scene before the fatal collision. After the crash, the two suspects exited their vehicle and fled on foot through nearby yards.

Emergency responders, including CHP, sheriff's deputies, and firefighters, rushed to the scene. Sheriff's Air 29 was deployed to assist in the search for the suspects. Deputies eventually detained the suspects on 20th Street West and Avenue N.

The victim, a female adult driver in the other vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another passenger from the victim's vehicle was transported to Antelope Valley Medical Center with injuries of unknown severity.

The CHP is investigating the incident, and the suspects are being held for questioning.
