Addressing homelessness requires both compassionate outreach and tangible solutions. The Los Angeles County Homeless Services and Housing Department recently conducted a Pathway Home operation in Lancaster, helping folks who were living in a desert encampment get into interim housing. The effort brought nearly 30 households indoors and cleared 25 recreational vehicles and tons of trash from land near Avenue G and 20th Street West. I remain focused on helping people experiencing homelessness connect to services and get on the path to permanent housing.
