Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are responding to a shooting death investigation. The incident was reported Saturday, November 1, 2025, at approximately 12:45 a.m., at the 100 block of W Avenue I, Lancaster.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult in Lancaster.
Lancaster Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to the 100 block of W Avenue in Lancaster regarding an assault with a deadly weapon, gunshot victim call for service. Upon their arrival, they located a 19-year-old, male Black adult victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper torso. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators learned that the shooting stemmed from a fight that took place at a Halloween party in a business building in the area. While outside the building, the victim was shot by an unknown suspect. The suspect fled in an unknown direction.
The investigation is on-going. There is no additional information available at this time.
