Late last week Lancaster Community Appreciation (LAN-CAP) deputies conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle driving erratically. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed an illegally possessed short barrel AK 47. This fully automatic weapon was loaded with armor piercing ammunition. Also seized as evidence was cash and items indicative of illegally distributing marijuana and marijuana products. Lancaster station deputies work hard daily keeping the community safe
