Man Parked in Handicap Space Without Placard Arrested on Narcotics Charges
A deputy recently observed a man parked in a handicapped space without a placard in Newhall. When he contacted the driver, the deputy observed marijuana in an open container, a scale, and narcotics paraphernalia in plain view.
A records check also revealed the man had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
The 40-year-old Lancaster man was arrested on misdemeanor charges related to narcotics sales, possession of narcotics paraphernalia, and the outstanding warrant. He was transported and booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station jail.
