On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at approximately 10:18 PM, Lancaster Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to the 600 block of West Jackman Street in the city of Lancaster, regarding a Person Down call. Deputies located Victim Deonsay McGee Holston suffering from injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Holston, who goes by the moniker “Takeoff,” was transient and known to frequent “American Heroes Park” and surrounding areas. Detectives are attempting to locate witnesses to the homicide or anyone with information about the victim’s death.
