I am deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Victor Zepeda, a dedicated Los Angeles County Public Works employee who lost his life while on the job today in Lancaster.

My heart goes out to his family, friends, and colleagues during this incredibly difficult time. Victor’s nine years of service as a heavy power equipment operator reflect his commitment to public service and to the residents of Los Angeles County.
