Teen Suspect Identified and Arrested for December Attempted Murder of Two Apple Valley Teens

DATE/TIME: December 3, 2025, 1:03 p.m.

INCIDENT: Two Subjects Shot; Investigation Ongoing

LOCATION: 21000 Block of Laguna Road, Apple Valley

SUSPECT (S): Male Juvenile, 17-years-old

VICTIM 1: 19-year-old Female Resident of Apple Valley VICTIM 2: 16-year-old Male Resident of Apple Valley ******************************************************************** Updated on January 14, 2026, at 7:35 p.m.

After an extensive investigation, it was determined a 17-year-old male juvenile shot the two victims. On Wednesday, January 14, 2026, the juvenile was arrested without incident and booked at High Desert Juvenile Detention Center for attempted murder. *************************************************************************** SUMMARY: On Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at approximately 1:03 p.m., deputies from the Apple Valley Station and fire department personnel responded to AMPM, 20815 Bear Valley Road, regarding two subjects with gunshot wounds. Through investigation, it was determined the shooting occurred in a dirt field in the 21000 block of Laguna Road. Both victims were transported to a local hospital and are expected to survive their injuries.

A portion of Laguna Road was shut down as investigators processed the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
